What is Sister Kinderhook?

When trying to figure out just what I wanted in a blog, and a decent title and url that wasn't outrageous, taken, or filled with number, my recent concert going experience lead me to remember my love for Rasputina. 

Raspu-what?

Rasputina. The only constant group member is Melora Creagor, who played on Nirvana's last tour. She kicks ass, plays cello and wears all manner of outrageous clothing. Being a cellist myself, this is the Orch Dork equivalent of Gaga, love it, hate it or leave it.
